What’s a topic or issue about which you’ve changed your mind?
I don’t make up my mind quickly to often change it. For example, in today’s Metro in London, there are at least 2 stories, which dictate and don’t provide enough information to form an opinion, which left me wondering.
Firstly. “Mother Guilty Over Fire Deaths of 4 Sons”. Did we see anyone convicted over Grenville Tower in 2017? My first thought is “is this woman a psychopath?” Surely to lose 4 sons in a fire is a terrible tragedy. Did she the lady, Deveca Rose have post partem depression? Did she get the support she needed? Was there something or someone else responsible?
Did Deveca nip to the shops leaving her four small children in the flat deliberately or out of desperation? The article gives no context. Was she guilty of accidentally letting her children set light to their home or did she strike the match and leave them to perish? The article does not say.
We ought not to judge without complete information, which means context, circumstances and surrounding relevance.

The next article shows where the account of the police marksman who shot a driver trying to escape as the ‘gun cop’ believed one or more of his colleagues could be killed as the man trying to get away would not stop his escape attempt.
OK, that sounds feasible. Much more than an unarmed man at a protest surrounded by armed cops with riot gear. The KC says “there was little or no threat” on hearing evidence.
Do you give a cop a gun if you don’t trust their judgment? Was the KC there? What were the circumstances? Was the murdered driver’s car really linked to sounds of gun shot? Why Chris Caba try to escape? Did he have a gun?
so many unanswered questions. Therefore, I cannot form an opinion with that many missing pieces of the jigsaw.
