Diary 2021 – Week 2, January 9th-15th

Image – people sitting in thick snow in Madrid – first snowfall in 50 years

January 8th, Friday

Dream on Luci app. Debating on Twitter. Rude followers repeating “but it’s clearly (not) set out in rules”. Point of driving to go for a walk is for people not near green spaces. Setting up series of blocks affects those most in need of free exercise outdoors. Government advertising before and after every film. All they say is “stay home” which is absolutely useless. Not how to stay healthy, how to protect self, how to stay sane, how to pay bills, how to access food. They think everyone is like them and people who complain are just jealous lefties. Don’t list or understand diversity. Taught to argue and crush opposition in boarding school education most people don’t have. This is a problem in British politics that is allowed to happen!

January 9th, Saturday

Didn’t do much. Had breakfast, steak etc and watched TV. Great music film High Notes about an assistant who wants to produce. Spoke to brother 10.30am. He sent pics and videos of Spain under thick snow. He said snow not settled since 1971. Sends video of people skiing behind cars and across Madrid city centre. Jogged on spot for a minute in kitchen. Will add into routine.

January 10th, Sunday

Dream: Pubs, keys, precious stone being on holiday. People from Jersey and Jericho. Climbing through tunnels, way to pub and people from Jersey narrow gap with Falmouth friends. Steve M interchanging Phil Mitchell. Worried about lockdown rules, taking shoes off before driving. Someone suggest bottle of wine to control what drink on plane no shops sell wine. Note drivers alone Rams Lane very fast and got there OK. Step up.

January 11th Monday

Dream on app – realised what trying to shout and not be heard was about. It’s a result of a friend giving snippet of information John and Eric questioned me last Wednesday. Everyone is doing what they say they don’t like, behaviour from “our leaders” trickles down. People ought to learn from history, that tyranny is not possible if the majority question. Spent Monday sorting out outstanding bills. Twitter has no mention of peaceful protests in USA.  Donald Trump is becoming laughing stock. Long boring conversation on Twitter with arrogant men who kill conversation with unanswerable statements missing or ignoring most of what responding to. Say “if you have nothing to say then don’t saying anything. Started watching Condor about CIA plot to infect Muslim world with plague.

January 12th Tuesday

Dream can’t remember. Morning check twitter for ‘leaky vaccine’ and seem to be many comments. Didn’t mention feedback for business plan. Disagree with “women gen x “ doesn’t sound very inclusive. Sounds uninformed so need to persuade reader why. Also “finding early adopters on Twitter”. Need to put what use each Social Media platform for and only Twitter works for finding interested parties. Mentioned double word count but not considering why 3,000 words tucked into document is not accessible. Have enjoyable webinar and grants and finance with Oxford Innovation. Why do I look better on Zoom than Teams? Camera same place. Kitchen lights off is better. Seem a few grants to purse and staying sole trader best bet for me.

January 13th Wednesday

Dream in app. Eric and his drama in and pebbles, beaches, walks to it and bars and restaurants. Father was in it, said I was loud in the morning. Alarm going. Robert woke me at 9.05. He brought Riverford boxes and early delivery Seasalt in. Great business plan seminars (webinars) taught each section, no confusion of different methods, SWOT analysis, contents, etc. All easy to follow and understand. Accessible and made sense. How can be like that in 2 hours when not taught by Falmouth Uni in whole year? Level playing field. After work, walked to Tesco to shop for Jessica. Her and John are ill. Wake up and drop shopping. Then walk home via Harbour Terrace. Take pic of Jacob’s Ladder and town at night.

January 14th, Thursday

Dream: Robert moves out, settling into place. Food stall, concert vehicles. Doing financial projection webinar. Got up, made porridge, put ginger in with cinnamon. Didn’t like (Can’t remember what didn’t). Call from Sally (mum’s first cousin). Will ask why didn’t acknowledge messages. Eric called, will call back. Didn’t learn as much in year at Launchpad as webinar today. Chris spoke very quickly. Very easy templates to fill, already implanted formulas. Not sure why course on Entrepreneurship wants us to relearn processes already available to focus on hard bit of devising, running and starting a business and have to waste time with working out processes. Often working on paper. This pen should work best.
