Friday 12th March
Need to write diary each day as cannot remember what happened well enough a week later. Quiz this eve. After writing blog, still no photos, start making quiz. Find Sky news, has all different categories. Devize 30 questions, quite proud of, as have to think and use common sense as no one will know. I think that makes a great quiz. Get an email offering to deliver wood. Reply say can I have more notice.
They say will call me on Monday. Get a call from Patsy, invites over, says Jessica turned up. Can drop in after supermarket. I say got quiz. Go to Sainsbury’s. Get some food. Get back at 8pm. Have dinner. Quiz at 9pm. Starts and Maria does well. Claudia loses confidence. Says got covid symptoms. Had her vaccine.
Saturday 13th March
Wake at 8.30a, and cook breakfast before talking to Pete. We talk about family discussions about Meghan Markle. I say I was busy while conversation, so just wanted to put in point that treatment was disproportionate, while other are let off for far worse. Pete says TV business contracts take months to negotiate. Then talk about confidence and how it affects those around. Recommend Daring Greatly. Pete says scared about catching COVID again.
Sunday, 14th March
Have arranged meeting with Eric’s tenants. He arrives and knocks on door. Arranged 4pm. Drive round. He asks what going to say. Feel mistrusted or under estimated and put on spot. I intend to clear air and reopen lines of communication. Meeting goes well and come back play Monopoly and take away.
Monday 15th March
Woke at 9am and check phone. Email from Woodstock about delivery tomorrow. Call surgery, book blood test and ask for repeat prescription. Jessica emails over return labels for dresses. Print off and go to meet her at 1pm. We go for a walk then Jeff calls to meet us. Go along front never been before. Low spring tide find lots of bits of pottery etc. Squidgy jelly like creatures. Huge mussel still alive.
Jeff arrives and seems usual self. We go to Tesco, but wine and sit in Quay. Jeff and James get anxious and go home. I still with Jessica who is on her phone. She speaks to Dan who says coming to pick her up. I ask if this is abit risky as he and Simon (who comes past) both treated her badly. Uses “banging on” to block me from speaking. Dan gives me lift home.
Tuesday 16th March
Woke at 8.30am. Missed call from Woodstock about delivery wood. Call at 11am with Sam from Public Health Collaboration. Looking through marked deck of playing cards for markings, spot suits and eventually lines across. In evening look at YouTube videos for tips. Guy called Chris Ramsay explains it well. A funny teacher guy shows more stuff including Morse Code.
Remember L, U, C, E etc. Need to revise that. Walked to surgery to get repeat prescription. Messaged Jo. Watched The Great last episode. Paid insurance for Melvill Road. Heard rail didn’t fit at Albany Road. Asked for measurements. Another useless unhelpful email from Parkgate Aspen, which reveals they know more than letting on about their client’s plans.
Wednesday 17th March
Woke at 9am. Interesting dream. Lovely sunny day. Got vaccine text. Got call from ATI2 to say would provide weekly phone support, which is perfect and set up Zoom calls at 10am every Wednesday. Said to go ahead and contact Smartline and EPIC too. Will feedback to Yvic at Oxford Innovation. Mneumonica book arriving at 12.49-15.49. Robert started reading Mneumonica book and trying to remember cards in order and by names. Ended up watching videos of people doing card tricks. I watched The One which is a sci fi drama about a dating agency using DNA. I went on Labour call at 6pm. I think I agreed to leafleting. Said needed good online manifesto. One lady am sure was landlord where I applied for a room in 2011.
Thursday 18th March
Blue Flame 8am-12pm. Boiler man came and said boiler pump had gone and hot water was still working. Said could order part. Sent invoice for £413.50 for job and 2 visits and part. Arranged to go and meet Jessica on pier post 2 parcels and collect prescription. I bought nails, screws and corner braces from Trago. Robert messaging to say braces ordered online had arrives. Went to drop bag with stuff off and went to Jessica and Jeff’s. Had some red wine. Spud was there. Not much said. Seemed a bit tense. Eric called and said was on his own. I said needed food. Ordered curry. He picked me up and we sat and drank wine til (can’t read word). Neighbour said arguing about Matt Hancock.
