Friday 5^th March

Wake up and block “Nippy fan” person on Twitter. Julia Roberts’ Eye person chats away. Reply then they apologise for negative and say great to chat. Won them over. Prepare for Independent Sage. Patsy reminds me to read her email. See her question proposal for reseach on PGCE. Photograph car and email to Hawkins bodywork. Robert says its St Piran’s Day and Patsy’s will run out. Go into Zoom call at 1.30pm. Got book Lockdown to read on pandemic swine flu. Robert says it’s gory. Am nervous. Susan Miichie saying Israel and PHE figures show people are spreading virus after vaccine 9 days. Read quiz. Maria in good spirits. She won. I read Lockdown til 9pm. Patsy’s Thai green chicken delicious. Then after quiz read hour before went to bed. Dream about blood and crocodiles.

Saturday 6^th March

Woke early, must have gone back to sleep. Woke again at 8.45am. Got up. Cleaned coffee machine, filled with stuff to clean. Prepared breakfast, drinking coffee. Patsy invest me over to sit around fire and have some food. Walk over and sitting around fire, which won’t stay lit in wind. Go inside and play Upwords and Shithead. Patsy cooked some shepherds’ pie, eat crisps. Drink red wine. Then at 2am elect to sleep on day bed. Door handles.

Sunday 7^th March

Woke at 9am and try to dose. Doesn’t work. Resign to hangover although drunk tea at end. Get up and Patsy offers to cook poached eggs. Eat in sunshine in garden. Walk home. Watch great sci fi film Chronicle 2067. Can’t tell low budget but great story about standing up to corruption and doing things for greater good. Evening spent watching TV and talking to Robert. Eric parked in neighbour space. Get to Balti. Have a takeaway.

Monday 8^th March

Woke at 9am, lovely sunny day. I get computer out and do essentials. Send off applications or try to contact EPIC, AT12 and Smartline. Get form from ATI2 and fill it in. Email back to say not sure if filled in and say to send it and Business plan and profit and loss and cash flow. Send it. Eric calls to say on Castle Beach. Say can drive over then come back to watch sunset. Find him at far end near public loos. Talk about his house situation. Then drive back to mine. Go to roof terrace to watch sunset. Eric says won’t be much, goes behind cloud. I think it will be a corker. It’s a good one. Comes inside and we play Monopoly. Only Fools and Horses board. I lose. Not risk takers. Have a few glasses of wine and cook chicken and vegetables for dinner.

Tuesday 9^th March

Put recycling out at 7.30am. All down bottom stairs. Wake up and have breakfast. Eggs and Salmon. Then start to write blog. Realise been eating pandemic proof diet. Protein is important. Try eating no meat. Go to supermarket. Get Indian side dishes. Chana masala and Taka Dall. Have lunch with assortment including Indian side dishes.

Don’t feel as good. Sunny half day then weather takes turn for worst. Very windy. Raining, hail. Weather forecast for tomorrow not god to take car for MOT. Memory jogger. Sat 6^th Went to Rosemullion Head with Daisy and Laurie her partner. Lovely sunny day. Have rose wine crab sandwiches. Then I go to Patsy’s after sunset. Have call from ATI about sending business plan. They like it and say make decision on Tuesday. Get reply from Public Health Collaboration. They invite me to a call 11am Tuesday.

Wednesday 10^th March

Get up at 8.30am. Take car to Dell. Walk home in rain. Go onto laptop and start writing blog. Still writing when Dell call at 4.30pm to say collect car. Eric says go round to have cup of tea. Invite round for dinner. Cook vegetarian stuff. Rice etc. He goes home then I watch TV. Car needed a new mount for suspension. Solve the clicking noise. Thought that was something hanging loose under car. Cost £218 including VAT and labour. Need to get panel fixed. I go to Sainsbury’s to get stuff and back home. Eric came over I tried to go on Labour call but too much info. Just asked for link to Zoom. Watch TV instead. Weather really rainy and windy. Some kind of storm.

Thursday 11^th March

Sunny when wake up at 10am. Bit of a lie in as not much happening. Miss mystery call. Need to check who that was. Could be Smartline. I had called it so returning my call. Then tried to – actually didn’t just mental note – to contact EPIC. Spoke to Verity at ATI2 and says have panel on Tuesday and will call on Wednesday. Arrange to go to meet Jessica for coffee on pier. She’s upset with her boyfriend. What does he expect? We buy some wine and go to Castle Beach. Taking pics of waves. Rain intermittent. She’s on phone constantly. Sun comes out. Go to sit down. Have a chat. I say how I can’t be more honest as scared of response. Amazing how people just don’t want to hear outsiders’ feedback as they know it already.
