Friday 19^th February

Woke at 9am and prepare to give Alun Dunville rails and curtains. He says he did the plumbing for my flat, used to work with the Trewans. Says sink broken. Ask to fix. I get stuff to go to skip and fill laundry bag for Asda. Skip no queue very windy. Have comedy moment with empty bottles falling out of big shopping bag in different directions and blowing away. I put one back and more shoot out. Luck crabbing in Salcombe. Quite challenge getting all back in. Email wood measurements to Woodstock. Put on Glasto hoody (before going out). Also go to Perranarworthal Veg shop. Just miss but they want egg boxes. Offload bag of them. Get veg, meat and cheese. Go to Asda. Not tons of sweets. Get Faustino V wine, tin foil, out of bin liners. Very weird.

Saturday 20^th February

Woke at 9am, late night last night as chatting to Claudia til 4am. 5 hours sleep. Daisy messaged to say going to help her friend’s partner’s parents to move house. Pete called 10.15am. Never remembers it’s 10.30am so I can be ready. Pete was very quiet. Said riots in Madrid about rapper Hasel (Pablo Rivadulla, known as Pablo Hasél) imprisoned for provoking violence in songs. Ended up debating business size and customer relationships and CSR tbc

Sunday 21^st February

Woke up in night with anxious dream about being ostracized. Maybe to do with dyspraxia. Then had nice free dream about 50^th Birthday. Jessica doing own thing, Robert trying to join. City of clubs. Trains. Went to Asda. Recycled sheet. Dry cleaning shut. Bad Google. Bought Friends plates, tea towel and oven glove set, Winnie the Pooh glasses and some storage as well as washing basket went for. Bought 2 flight cases for 80s singles.

Monday 22^nd February

Eric called to ask if would drive him to Redruth to collect his Mercedes. He arrived after his uni lecture at around 1pm. His Citroen was parked outside and ticked when tried to start. He got anxious and called RAC. Said they couldn’t come til 3pm I started clearing downstairs area. Then tidied living room and called in measurements for wood for Robert to build shelving. Think woke with bad dream.

Then had nice dream after about 50^th birthday on a train with musicians and Jessica not coming and playing a guitar shaped like a washboard. Robert cycled to join 50^th. Recurring plane/train seating in train carriage. Eric did his lecture at 1pm and I changed painting around in my room. Worked through downstairs. Planned to build 230cm x 80cm wooden unit.

Tuesday 23 February

Eric called to say Mercedes cost £50 more than quoted. Said not feeling welcome in flat as flatmates both got each other to talk to about work and horrible bosses. Arrange to go to pick up Mercedes on Wednesday afternoon. Daisy coming over for dinner Wednesday evening. Or I go there. I collect dry cleaning and Eric comes over for dinner. Nate wants Pizza so I order 2 for £14 from Brothers. They give me slot for pick up. I buy stuff from Asda, but forgot pizza hence takeaway. Eric comes over so I cook chicken. Suspend Riverford for a week and still doing breakfast and dinner plus staying active in between. Story in paper about daffodils not being picked. Wonder why they don’t publicise application process for people in UK who want daily activity.

Wednesday 24 February

Daisy messages (starting “hey Soph” grrrr) to ask if like to go to her or Robert and me go there or I cooked and she comes over here. Robert doesn’t want to go out. She agrees to come over. I look in fridge and lamb needs cooking. Get sweet potato from Asda. Take Eric to Redruth to go on webinar at 4pm. He breaks down and has to be rescued with petrol. Think false economy to not put fuel in car. Messaging at Asda petrol. He gets back and I go home. Turns out webinar is 25^th, tomorrow BMJ, covid outcomes. Cook lamb chops. 21^st went off. Cook lamb with roots. Buy marrow not sure what to do with it. Daisy comes over (says partner working late) have lovely evening, with cheese. Robert has ready meal. Asda do sneaky. Say our meal is £5 but shelf says 21^st £5.

Thursday 25^th February

Patsy messages to ask if want to go for quick dip. She says birthday tomorrow. Not thinking of being noisy says may come over for a game of upwords. Hungover. Got webinar at 4pm. Got late night email to ask Vitamin D question on Independent Sage tomorrow. Kitty still there. Send 5 questions last thing before taking laptop back to university. Need to send store all images on USB. Get inaccessible letter saying freeholder of parking space wants to build flats. No idea what should do. Will ask Peter. Need to send Tony Davies micronutrient graphs. He has covid, ill. Plus lease and freehold info. Doing before webinar. Evening watched most amazing film called Lost City Z about Fawcett, who explored Amazonia to find lost civilisation and disappeared in 1925 with his son.
